Our Dog Has A Crush...

Ares is soo in love with Emily! She spent the night last night and he literally followed her all around the house, he layed his head in her lap when she was just sitting there, etc. She was even going to take a shower and was shutting the bathroom door and he bolted, scooting in at the last second. Hahaha. He's obsessed! It's pretty cute.

Ry made it to Kosovo safely. Thanks to everyone who has kept him in your prayers! <3

I've just been working this week. I've been slacking on running because I've been getting in pretty late.

I've decided I probably won't put up my tree this year. What's the point? I'm home alone all the time. Nobody to decorate it with, I won't have Christmas under it, and nobody to help take it down. Kinda pointless.

I guess that's it! Ares has a crush, Ry is in Kosovo, I'm working, I probably won't put up my tree. That's all!

Hohenfels

So I lived in Germany as a child and remember things very vividly. One thing I can say I forgot and came back quickly, was the smell of the restrooms here. The smell could knock a buzzard off a crap wagon at 50 paces. It's so nasty when you're in there, you have to figure out how you're going to breath. If you breath using your mouth all the stink goes straight into your mouth, but if you use your sniffer, then you can smell it and you don't think about it going into your mouth. So it's a very important choice. The showers have "energy saving" buttons, so the water runs for 30 second and then you push the button again so that blows. I think that it's just carls marks cousins run this place, I'm not 100% on that but I'll get you an answer. I couldn't tell you what the sun looks like here because it doesn't come out, which will make when it snows in the next couple of days even better. So the story on the transformer is pretty funny. I went to the main PX, pick up the last big boy converter, step down from 220 to 110 with 2000W. It had two three prong outlets and was heavy enough to crush an oger. I had my computer moniter, laptop, another person laptop, and a million other things pluged into this beast and it was all good. My buddy two bunks down asked if I would give him some power down to his bunk. Being the great friend I am, I said yes, so we figure than if we pluge his surge protector into the surge protector already in it should be enough distance to get him his power with a few pluges. The instant I touch his surge protector to the pluge I heard a huge pop. So I carried this overweight hunk of metal to the px and get my $205 back. I ran up to the thrift store and bought George Washington's old power convertor he had gotten from a thrift store for his 5th birthday that weights more than a steal beam wealded to a building. It old has one plug and gives 750W not cool, but it was only 50 bucks so it's an ok trade off. I get back to the hooch and it doesn't work. Come to find out I blew the fuse for the entire section of the wall. So if something stops working, check the little things before you do anything else.

well I need to head back to my bunk and watch some more movies. Later guys.
